Roulette Table
So you’re walking through a casino and you see this wheel spinning. You
glance over to take a look at what is going on and you see a bunch of people cheer
and having a great time together. You walk up closer and take a look and the game
name is Roulette. You want to play but you have no idea how and what everything
means. I briefly am going to describe how you can read the board and start playing
in minutes.
Ok, so step closer to the roulette table, take a good look. As you can see
there are 38 numbers on the board, 1 through 38 plus 0 and 00 (not on all wheels).
As you can see all the numbers rotate between black and red. Besides the basic
numbers on the board you are probably seeing a bunch of other things such as,
odd/even, black/red, 1 to 18, 19 to 36 and so on. All of these are possible
bets that you can make. Breaking down the odds is quite easy. For example if
you were to place a bet on red, then you have just under a 50% chance of winning
because of the green 0’s. Another possibility is placing a bet on 1 to
12 which pays 3 to 1 so your odds are just under 33 % (again because of the
0’s).
There really isn’t much to the roulette table. Take some time and go
over it, study it and make sure you feel comfortable with placing bets quickly
as you only have a few minutes between bets.
The roulette wheel is the same; it is not complicated at all. You actually don’t
have to know a thing about it other than watching it to see what number comes
up. All the numbers on the wheel are random (not in any particular order). They
wheel flips back and forth from red to black with the two green 0's looking out
of place.
Now that you know what the game is and what you are looking at you might consider
giving it a try, it is a fantastic experience.
